New for NAMM 2023

NAMM 2023 has ended and there's several new products announced this year.

With over 25,000 channels shipped since its launch in 2015, Rupert Neve Designs’ RNDI Active Transformer Direct Interface is firmly established as the DI of choice for many of the world’s most discerning musicians and engineers. Ex Machina Soundworks has unveiled Titan, a new speaker system for use in Dolby Atmos mixing and mastering rooms. Tailor-made for any studio looking to make the transition to Dolby Atmos, the new Ex Machina TITAN monitor package includes ​​four 2-way point source speakers and a matching 2RU amplifier/DSP pack.

AEA Microphones announced the release of the TRP3 Mic Preamp and RPQ3 Mic Preamp and Equalizer Hardware. AEA’s RPQ3 microphone preamp and equalizer adopts the latest third-generation circuit design, providing two channels of high output, high impedance and low noise gain functions, as well as a unique EQ architecture to optimize microphone performance. AEA’s TRP3 microphone preamp also uses the latest third-generation circuit design. Avid announced a new all-in-one audio interface, Pro Tools | MTRX II, and introduced its new Pro Tools | MTRX Thunderbolt 3 Module. MTRX II lets users capture all of the power of Pro Tools software-based workflows while gaining IO capacity, a larger routing matrix and more immersive monitoring capabilities. The addition of the new Thunderbolt 3 module brings the power of MTRX II and MTRX Studio interfaces to native audio applications, which can be used simultaneously with Pro Tools | HDX.
